Default Need some header help!!

0ok i have the mmw header and s-pipe and its not even on yet lol ......and im having trouble getting the damn stock header off!......i am just 2 bolts away from taking it out and its stopping me! ahhhh!....i just cant get a good postion to get them off.......the first one is the one near the alternator on the header....and the second is the driverside bracket in the bottom.....what sux is i have a auto tc and those stupid transmission lines are in the way also!.....the bracket bolt is just really hard to get off....and i have the right tools and everything even air tools!! but still nothing....everything else is off...flange bolts and every other bolt.....just need some info or someone else that did it on an auto....i know on a manual its easy.....just some info would be excellent or even if there is a diy on here that i didnt see cuz i did search!....i also saw that dc header install but still didnt really help thanx!

Those two bolts will haunt you.......

Work on the one near the alternator.I do not reember how we got it off but finally did.....then you can slide the header out of the way a bit to get at the other one.

Just a bit of wisdom here.....go get longer bolts for the flange that goes from spipe to header as it is a night mare to get the ones they send you on.Also pull out the tranny lines,fans and radiator.....

Install header from the bottom of car with the pasenger side of the header facing up and rotate it around to vertical and it will go right in.

If you leave the lines and radiator in you have a 50/50 chance of popping the radiator which is a lot more expensive than tranny fluid and antifreeze.

Good luck with those two bolts.
