Dude, take it from someone that has been there, if you don't have insurance you have no business being on the road. About 10 years ago I was driving around without insurance and I got T-Boned by some idiot that ran a red light. Even though I was not at fault in any way shape or form I still got cited for not having insurance and got smacked with a $450 ticket. 3 cars were involved in that accident and luckily no one was seriously injured, but I did have to spend the day under observation at the ER. Had the accident been my fault I would have been responsible for roughly $60,000 worth of car repairs and medical bills, and I would still be paying off that liability today, but luckily I was not at fault. You may think you are saving yourself a few bucks by not having insurance but you are taking a huge risk.
