Default best non-performance brake pads to replace worn stock ones?

Satisfied: Pro Ceramic

They perform and sound like stock, but very low brake dust. These keep my chrome wheels much shiner than other pads. I'm on my 2nd set (front and back).

http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductD...pe=219&PTSet=A

Tirerack also sells them.

i have axxis deluxe.
http://www.dezod.com/pd_axxis.cfm
I think u will only need to change the front brake pads.
How many miles you on your 2008? I changed my pads at 50,000miles. And the rear pads are still more than 50% left.
I am saving those rear pads for next time. I think rear pads should last 100,000 miles.

If you want to get the cheap pads, try www.rockauto.com and get the cheapest replacement.
I ordered some cheap pads for my cousin's Corolla from there, $29 shipped for front pads. I should be getting them in few day.

Autozone brake pads, they're fairly cheap and they have a lifetime warranty. So if they wear again, just take them back and they'll give you a new pair.

how are you guys only getting 15k out of the stock pads? Did you change before they were worn out?

yeah, I was going on a long trip and my mom didn't want me driving with the worn pads( i still had like 5-10k on them but whatever). She offered to pay for both the pads and labor so I figured why not lol. Back home i was heavy on my brakes tho. Now i'm easier on them in order to try and keep my rims clean.

i just changed my fronts at 45k miles, i could have still gotten another 10k easily out of them

went with axxis deluxe pads, so far theyve been great, no noise, and feel completely like stock, very low dust as well!! i love them!

or you could try Porterfields R4-S brake pads. They're carbon/kevlar and they put out less dust than OEM! and last about 50-60k miles. http://porterfield-brakes.com/

give them a call, you'll thank me! yes they're excellent!

They sequel like a **** unless you slam on the brakes. and brake dust is a huge issue. A week after washing my car, i can easily write on my lip and have it be visible from across the parkin lot lol. I'd take a picture but i just washed my car. The only good part about them is that everytime i wash my car the rims look stunning, and i guess they stop better then stock.
