From Boxilla.....Here are some quick photos, the install was pretty easy on a scale of 1-10 maybe a 5-6 definately need 2 people and would be helpful with 3 but it can be done with two. I took a ton of shots of the install and will put together a DIY thread, from painting to the final install in the next day or so. All in all a great product and It looks pretty dang cool. I dont think that photos alone can do it justice how it looks in person. Thanks Steve for always coming up with cool bling for our B's
The install template...
They are ready to ship either a polished stainless or a brushed stainless finish.
I've pictured something like this for a long time. Looks interesting. Riveting is a little permanently scary but I don't think 3M would be up to the job....
With the windshield history we got on our boxes I would think another form of install that would make it easier to replace the windshield would make it a tad better.
The fewer times a power tool gets close to my paint the better.

If you need to remove it you use a drill bit to remove the rivets and then use heat weaken the adhesive on the glass. You should still be able to remove and replace the windshield with it on, it is just a little more difficult.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! i just bought the air ride from scionpro last week and i was looking at this on their website saying "i wonder what this would look like on my car?" and now i know. you even got it painted. how much did a shop charge you, if you don't mind me asking, to get that painted? that is definitely my next mod... as soon as i recover from the air ride that is $$$....
Zim, I've seen an envy green one, it looks nice. Not a fan of the polished or brushed though, watch out for showing up on a Nissan or Mazda rice thread.
Then again, it's not my style to add polished anything to a car that never had it to begin with. I'm even getting my turbo piping powder coated.

Boxzilla painted both of them himself so I am not sure how much it would be for a shop to paint it. I am sure it would be similar in cost to paint the rear spoiler.
No need to worry about rust, item is stainless steel and when you make the hole before you put the visor on put a little clear coat or clear nail polish on the metal and then install it.
