Default Help with my audio/deck...

I know the stock Pioneer deck doesn't have RCAs on the back of the deck, but I noticed there are some extra female plugs on the back. Is there some sort of adapter/plug I can buy to hook up my amp, or do I need to buy a new deck altogether?

Thanks for any help...

Rob - Team Rev0lution

P.S. I did use the search engine (google.com) before posting here...and its my first post, so please, be gentle.

There is an adapter you will have to buy. It runs about $50 (I know they are on ebay for the same price). I don't know what it is called, but there are numerous threads about this. Go to the ICE forum on this site and search there. A lot of people have hooked amps to the factory head unit so you are not alone. Good luck

thanks for the help guys, but i think i'll just end up buying a brand new kenwood or alpine...i'm just wondering how the hell people make it fit, do they already make kits for the scion dashes? i'd like to know, i'm sure as hell not gonna waste $50 to keep my factory deck when i can get a whole new deck for $100 more...and i'm not gonna waste time hooking up my Jensen 500W Comp amp and my Kickers if i'm not gonna be happy with the result...thanks for the help guys...i'll have pics and details on my car soon...i'm currently doing alot of mods, so i don't wanna give it away...thanks..
