Default CEL with aftermarket exhaust

I will be purchasing an exhaust once I get my tax return.. I tryed a search and didn't find the information I needed to know.

Does anyone know which exhaust system throws the CEL? I'm looking for the best performance gain with no CEL. I'd also perfer a bolt kit system but I will bring it to someone to weld if needed.

which system would you want to know about? Our systems for the tC do not turn on the CEL when it is installed. We have tested it already. :D

Yeah the catback was dynoed, but I want to dyno it again. I was not impressed with the shop that we dynoed our vehicle at. So we are gonna dyno again at another shop with high regards. Better to have a newer dyno run our car than a 10year old one.

you won't see much power/if any power gains with just an exhaust. you'll need at least an intake, and a high flow cat or test pipe would be even better. but high flow cat or a test pipe will throw a cell. race headers help alot to

I had my system custom made from the header back. Straight 2.5" pipe with a aerospeed muffler. I'm ordering the DC Sports headers soon. :D

With the DC header your car is going to be SO LOUD!!!!!!!!!

Anything from header back shouldnt trip a CEL. The 1st cat should give enough backpressure to fool the o2 sensor. Once the 1st cat is removed is when the CEL comes on.

I'll definately be going with the full system since it doesn't throw the light.

what type of WHP gains is everyone getting from the full system?

The dyno that we had was about 4-6+HP. The + is when you add CAI or more. :D
