Default Anyone installed Hotchkis Sport Sway Bars?

I'm having trouble with my sway bars. For some reason they make a lot of noise, and I can't seem to figure out why. There are clunking sounds when I go over bumps, almost like they're loose, but I know they're not loose because I was told that I may have missed a nut or bolt on the reinstallation process. So, I went back to my garage and did it all over again; checking and re-checking, making sure everything is to specs.

Guess what, I still have this clunking problem. Does anyone have any information, or ideas as to what I can do.

P.S. For anyone who is installing this product, and doing it in their garage, at home, with jack stands instead of a lift; Hotchkis doesn't offer this little bit of information, but I recommend using your "jack" to support the craddle on the way down. It will help keep all the bolts aligned!!! They tell you that it will drop down and to just let it hang there, and it does, but believe me it will make the job that much easier on the reinstallation.

are the fittings greased?

Also check to see if your springs are properly seated.

fittings are greased.

didn't have to touch the springs on the installation. Think they might be something that would have to be re-adjusted??

i think i kno what you are talking about...my bro has eibach sways on his VW and they make noises when he goes on bumps or what not...also my friend wit his celica...he has sways and they make noise also...from what i kno its fine that they make noise...if im not mistakin the noise sounds like they are stretchin right??...so i shouldnt worry about them...my bros sways have been on for maybe about a year and there has been no problem..and same noise is there...also my friend wit the celica...so all in all...there shouldnt be anything to worry about...just means your sways are working fine...

That's exactly what I'm talking about!

That makes me feel relieved. I actually got a hold of my buddy who owns a 350Z, and has installed sways as well with the same problem. He said that he's talked to a few people and they seemed to say that it's not a problem, and that the sways are for racing so they're not going to necessarily be quiet when driving.

Anyway, thank you guys and gals!
