If the toyota venza motor 2.7L/182-hp/182-lb-ft DOHC I-4/6-sp auto would fit

lots of engines can fit, it is just a matter of how much $$$ it costs to custom fabricate everything to work together and run properly. even when they're from the same car company and they share similiar components and such, it doesn't mean it is going to be easy, just take a look at this article from car and driver, where they put the engine from a mazdaspeed3 into a maxda 5

Sure those are great numbers for our cars but what horrid engineering they put forth on this engine. 2.7 litres producing only 185 crank HP? If honda can squeeze out 197hp from a 2 litre toyota should be able to crank out much more HP with this 2.7 since it uses vvti which according to toyota is "much more sofisticated" blah blah
But yea how sweet would it be to haul ___ like nothin with NA response
A good I/H/E setup would be more than enough for the 2.7 in our cars.
