Default quick FI question!! please help ASAP

i have everything almost ready to install my turbo kit....but one question....i was reading a diy on this site about clocking the turbo....and it seems to not be exactly the same as the way the diy says....
it says to remove the clamp to reveal the cartridge pin and once exposed....just take out the pin and replace the turbo....but the pin is stuck onto the piece....did anyone else have this problem???? it wont come off, i even used pliers....right now i have something like this

the pin blocks the turbo from clocking and the radiator hose blocks the turbo from fitting exactly since its not clocked....what to do now....thanks in advance guys!!!
