Default why do i hear squeaking when i push down the clutch pedal??

i hope this is not a big problem. but when i push in my clutch pedal, i hear a squeaking noise comming from the engine bay...any ideas on what can be causing this? is it normal? its pretty annoying. the car has 56k miles and i do have a trd quickshifter if that makes a difference.

it will always keep squeeking, you can grease it, but it always seems to return after a month or so

there's been threads about this before, if i can find it i'll post it up. If you want I can take a picture of the part that's squeaking for you so you can grease it, it seems to return though.

Mine seems to like to squeak only when there's a lot of humidity or after it's sat in the rain for a while.

I remember when I first noticed my clutch squeak. I was in a carport bay, it was early morning, nice cool breeze... ahh, memories.

I remember when I first heard the hatch rattle, the roof creek, the hatch inside squeak, etc etc. So many creeks and squeaks for such a tiny car, lol

while I was doing a transmission and clutch install afew weeks back the guy who I was helping do it explained the squeak is the arm inside that pushes the clutch on......the ball it pivots on is low on the lithium grease and causeing the squeaks.........said he sees it all the time......gettgin to that arm is a nother story,as you have to pull the tranny and remove the arm and grease under it where it pivots.

yeah it is..........but check the other linkages from shifter to the tranny and see if they are dirty and needing grease first.....there is a rubber bootie over the arm,it opens up but at best you could spray soem white litium grease into it,jsut do not lose the extenson for the sprayer or it may get into the clutch assy and gum it up as it melts and gets chewed up.....lol

my guess is when cars go intothe dealership for this same thing that is all they do is spray it inside with a long straw......it is not as good as taking it apart to get to the part it rides on but wil work fine.
