Default Product review--Aluminum Stubby on eBay

Got one. Looks great, radio reception sounds TERRIBLE now.

Just a heads-up for anyone who listens to the radio/doesn't know that eBay is a great way to waste cash. Just what I get for being cheap.

I'm going to buy a Honda s2000 antenna right after I pay rent.

I just got one for 20 bucks, but I rarely listen to the radio anyway...I normally listen to my cds all the time.

It shouldn't be a problem if you rarely listen to your radio. It's this one:

I stuck my stock antenna back on tonight. Tomorrow after my oil change, maybe I'll stop by the Honda dealership.

It makes the car look a lot better, and the reception is acceptable if you are in the city oherwise no reception. Doesn't matter to me though because i dont listen to the radio.

For all these people who don't listen to the radio, why doesn't someone just make an antenna cap - you'd screw off the antenna and screw it on instead and it would just be a little bump and nothing else - sort of like a mini-s2000? Someone could probably make one out of the existing antenna... I like the way the tC antenna looks frankly, but I'm just saying...

Somnambulated, Would you like me to move this to the "Retail, Shop & Dealer Experiences" forum for you?

I bought the same one. I also think it looks good but the reception trade-off is just unacceptable. I took some pictures if anyone is interested.

Hmmm...I did check out my radio the other day, and I didn't hear any problems with it. (btw, I have the exact same one)

I do have to say though that Vegas is one of those cities that has EVERYTHING, so trips outside of Vegas are so rare that I wouldn't know about it after I left the city yet. And I use cds on road trips.

If it gets to the point where I get fed up with it, I'll probably put my stock antena back on.
