Default Cruise Control

As a loyal release 3.0 owner, I am still seeking after-market recommendations for cruise control. Anyone have one?

Yes, the Rostra is the way to go, although you may want to avoid the hassles of installing it yourself.

I had two major problems installing the Rostra CC in my MT xB. The wiring harness has to be moved out of the way to thread the clutch switch in. I didn't know the harness could be moved by cutting plastic tie bands and sliding two plastic clips out. A repair shop owner showed me, but in the process, he accidentally cut two wires that took out my external lights and speedometer lighting.

My CC didn't work. I ended up taking it to a Rostra-approved installation shop in New Mexico, 1000 miles from home, as I was on a cross-country trip. $75 later, I learned I'd failed to correctly tap into the vehicle speed sensor wire. I'd have figured it out with tech support assistance, but it was easier to let a professional do it, since I was on the road and away from home.

I had the Rostra professionally installed five (5) years ago. I am very happy with it.
