:O LOL DAMN!
Craigslist, junkyard or even an SL'er or other Scion enthusiast that might have one laying around. She may have to go through several forums to find someone who is willing to part with it for cheap.

umm yeah idk..they should..but they i guess have no freakin cluee about cars..because the stupid guy told my father to go to wheel america and find one there for cheap or keystone or whatever..like really??? they just need to cough up the damn 500 bucks for me to get it from my dealership..i mean come on now..i pay over 2,000 in insurance just for me in a year and ive never had a wreck or a ticket besides hitting the curb when it snowed for the first time in texas..ughhhh im so mad..
HOLY DAMN!!!! It looks like it peeled the lip back! Ive got 3 extra stock rims collecting dust in my garage! Although if the RS2 has different color then mine wont match. But if you want it you can have it REALLY cheap!
the RS2 wheels are just the standard 17 alloy wheels all scion tc's come with, but with a different finish. just tell her to get a used OEM rim, and have it powder coated to match the rest. my powder coated rims were about $100 each. i gave him a rashed up set of used rims off ebay, and when i got them back, they looked like they were brand spanking new.

Acquire a stock wheel if possible, then have it powdercoated. You might want to look at the dealerships. Ask them who do they use to refinish wheels as some dealerships have a wheel repair / refinisher guy. Contact the person instead of going through the dealership, that's assuming the dealership tells you who they use lol.
the only problem i see here is that insurance is being cheap. The RS2 wheel is a satin finish limited edition wheel. If she ever goes and sells her car, it would be nice to have the matching rs2 parts on it. You have to let insurance know they have to order a RS2 wheel and nothing less.
I can also see insurance saying to buy your own wheel because they did that in my accident. I was fine with it however because i just bought a new set of volks however, in your situation, i would not be fine with it!

you know whats really funny about this?
a few years ago, there was a girl in frostburg who had a regular BSP tC, and she got into an accident and damaged the wheels on one side, and they got replaced. next time i saw it, i was like "WTH why are her rims so light?" and i realized the body shop who did the repairs accidentally got her RS2 wheels, so they were different finishes on each side. i spoke to her about it, she said they were working to correct the mistake.
