Got my 18" TRD's back in from the shop!!
Most of the wheels were bent, so I just said screw it and had them all redone in a Nissan Flint Metallic ...something.
All the bends are gone, and they look great.
My only question is this:
My TRD center caps fit VERY loosely in the centers. I can just tap them out with 1 finger. Only one of the caps has a metal wire around it and it just falls out without any push...how do you get these to stay on the wheel?

hey... if you don't mind... what kind of ballpark figure did it set ya back to have those refinished like that? Curious as I have a set of wheels I have been thinking of getting professionally refinished.
Thanks guys! The color is actually a bit darker than that, the flash makes it a bit brighter. I wanted a color that was noticeably gunmetal/graphite during the day, but at night (due to the lack of pearl flecks) it looks black
I got a hook up from the guy that sold me the wheels. He sold me all 4 w/center caps for $80. Then, since he owned an auto shop, he made a call into a place called "Wheel Technologies" which is in Dallas, TX that worked on one of my rims before me and they redid them for $75/ea
If you have a wheel refinishing shop near where you live, get an auto shop to call in for you, as they get discounted rates vs. a normal joe-shmo.
So after tax they cost $316.xx + $80 I spent = $396.xx
Oh and as to the center cap issue, I guess each cap belongs to a certain wheel as the other caps snap perfectly into other wheels nice n tight.
