Default Let's talk about dropping.

I'm starting to get to the point that I'm thinking about dropping my xD. What I'm wondering is how low I should go. I have really had my eyes on a set of S-Techs but I doubt I can run 18's (225/40/1. Basically either do a radical drop and keep the stock tire size or reduce the drop....hmm.

i know you can safely drop the car two inches (df's) and fit 18"s with little rubbing, and that only occurs in hard tuns. theres plenty on posts about this on here already, look around for more info.

Yea what he said...I have tried many offsets and two sets of springs with 18's...With TRD's you don't have any rubbing issues...With the DF's, alot depends on the rim offset and tire size...I'm running 18x8 in a 35 offset and I had to grind the inner lip down on the rear fender due to rubbing...
