Default Whats the best car cover

I have my Tc at the paint shop right now getting it painted and stuff. I want to be able to protect the car and paint but I have no garage to put it in. What is a good brand car cover for our car? Is it worth covering?

Thanks

Chris

toyota should have some kind of protecting paint (don't know what it called)which they put one clear layer on top of the paint.

for the car cover, then I don't know.

Its not a toyota shop getting painted its getting a 2 tone paint job right now. I just wanted to have something to cover the paint and something to keep the pollen and crap off of it

I use the Premier car cover from Budge Industries. It's best to give your car a good coat of wax if you use the car everyday since removing the cover daily will actually be detrimental. If not, just keep the basic rules of using a car cover in mind.

im guessing the best car cover to use would be a factory toyota cover specifically made for the Tc, all these other covers out there are usually Universal and never really fit perfectly

also what jnaval said sound true, daily putting it on and taking it off might acctually scratch the paint rather then protect it, especially around the bumpers, doors, and mirrors. i think the best paint protection from the enviroment is cleaning and waxing your car routinely! just my 2 cents

you say you dont have a garage, but how bout investing in one of these V

The car will not be uncovered every day. Its not my daily driver. I would just un cover it for the weekends. But I know what you guys are saying that a car cover could acually scratch the paint taking it on and off.

You should definitely check the site out that I posted, they got a wide range of what you might need, stuff from a light temporary cover to a RainGuard cover, pretty cool stuff. But you can't go wrong with OEM either.

OEM cover, problem is - you DONT want to cover a car that isnt perfectly clean as you will wipe your contamination (dust, dirt, pollen) back into your paint if you leave it uncovered for ANY period of time. I only cover my car (which sits in a garage) after it has been freshly washed AND dried properly (I use a leaf blower).

DONT put a car cover on a car thats been sitting out for like 3-4 days.. Trust me, youll have mini scratches all over after a period of time.
