Default Lisense Plate Noise

Okay does anyone know of a good way to quiet down my lisense plate and rear wiper when I have the bass hitting hard. It seriously sounds like my back hatch is going to fall off or something. My subs are a little too powerful or something. Thanks

The wiper you'll have to take off. As for the plate, just apply some Dynamat to the back of it.

I had the same problem. To fix it I went and bought those little velvet circle things that you can stick to the bottom of your furniture so they don't scratch your floor or move around. I put about 5 or 6 of those on the back of the license plate and the license plate frame and it seems to have helped.

I used industrial grade velcro, attached with sticky tape. Works fine. . . zero rattle, even when slamming the hatch

Thanks everyone, I didn't think I would get that much feedback in one day. The velco idea was really nice, good idea djct-watt. I'll have to wait until the weather gets better here to work on it though. I hate Indiana weather.

Dude, what?

Anyway, your subs aren't "too powerful". Any of the above listed ways are a good fix. Especially the velcro one. I once had a Cavalier that the tag rattled really bad on and I took a coozy and cut it in half and put it behind the license plate and it worked great. It was ghetto but hey...

My plate rattles because of the frame i have installed. I have the clear plastic cover with a plastic frame but since the rear plate is only held by two bolts, the bottom of the frame vibrates. It's annoying.
