Default Exhaust Assistance...

Pretty simple request. Maybe we can do a get together at a Sonic or something.

I am wanting either a catback or axleback exhaust. I will have my Cold Air Intake installed this weekend. Not sure about installing my stainless steel header.

I want to have the quietest exhaust possible other than stock. Just a little deep tone and grumble...

I am looking at Magnaflow, Tanabe Medallion Touring or Borla. Anyone have these exhaust systems?

1st things 1st...if you want the quietest exhaust possible, don't put the header on. A nice popular, quiet, great sounding exhaust is the Tanabe Concept G. It's an axle back, which are quiter than catbacks which include a midpipe.

That's my dilemma...it's kinda like having cake and eating it too...I want the extra HP and MPG from a header, cold air intake and exhaust, but I don't want it to make much noise...

yeah i mean you can feel the high end with a header, but without 1 good resonator or even 2 like i used to have, it will be very very loud and raspy. but a good nice sounding full exhaust is possible...just with resonators. i personally had 2 aero25 resonators and it got rid of all the rasp and sounded good.

Well I have the weapon r 4-2-1 header along with the fujita cai and for exhaust I have the hks hi power exhaust. Was a very nice deep tone but like mentioned got louder with header. Id get that exhaust and add resonators as also mentioned above.

if you put a race header on the tc with any canister muffler, it sounds raspy like a lawn mower.
