Default De-badged today..

So the modding itch got the best of me on my day off and I had to do something to my car. This is the first mod I did on my '08 xB and its the first I did on my new '11 tC. Looks much better and cleaner in my opinion.

I spent 5 minutes looking at the image trying to see what you did, forgetting you said debadged not garnish debadged.

Haha the car isn't dented. Looks like it though doesn't it? Just a weird color/reflection/lighting /crappy cell phone camera effect. I would like to debadge the garnish but the scion emblem has two posts that keep it secured into the body. Ill most likely end up painting them a matte black.

its extremely easy. I used a hair dryer at about a 6-10 inch distance to heat up the adhesive. then u used the corner of a credit card to slowly peel the emblem away. if you want you can use some thicker gauge fishing line to sort of run along the back of the emblem. use some goo gone or dw40 to remove any residue left behind.

you can also use some windex, your finger and sacrifice having a sore finger to get off the residue lol. That was my method but it's all good cuz now i just type with out my index

haha everyone has a different place to put the tC badge. I haven't seen that one where you put the badge in the lower windshield or where the rear view mirror is. The most I've seen was in the grill area, and on the dash...

the t fits in the grill, but the C doesn't. I de-badged mine today! I had a lot of residue left over. But it is well worth it.
