Default What mod to do?

What should i do next with my xb? Personally, i'm looking at either getting a CF hood, a cheapy muffler, or a sound system. But more so the first too. Please pm me with either setups, price or anything else. Do not simply post, please vote!! Thanks.

Also, what will a decent amp run me? I'm not looking at any type of competition model here, just a simple, nice sounding setup.

Also, will buying a new setup require the purchasing of a new face plate too?

Don't go cheap on any sort of mod. Always get the best you can get, its a new car so you will have it for a while. Just get the "good stuff" now, so you won't have to replace things as often! And i would go with CF hood or muffler, but thats only because im not that big on having 2 12's in the back of my car. Im more for performance.
I got my hood/muffler from:
Hood- Techno R CF w/ 1'' scoop, vis racing.
Muffler- JIC spartan DE type 1, hyperformanceauto.

My first mod was the cai though, whatever you choose to do, don't let anyone tell you it sucks. Your ride, your rules. Have fun and post some damn pictures!!

Thinking of creating my own sub box maybe.. then putting subs in it, buying an amp, and possibly have someone else do the wiring. Anyone know what this should run me?

Well, do you want more style and performance? Or style and sound? Thats what it boils down to.

Not really concerned with sound. I'm not a fan of window rattling bass hits

If i do go with sound, is it necessary to get a different face plate? I've seen many people with the stock plate, so i'd assume it's ok. How far could someone go with $250? (what i'd spend if on sound). Thanks.

if you have $250, i'd just get a new hood. it would be fairly difficult to get a good sound system for $250. Atleast worth it anyway.

with that you can upgrade your speakers and probably get that adapter so you can connect an amp and sub to your existing OEM head unit..... i am also looking to upgrade my sounds... and as of right now ..im shopping around and trying to get deals .... id say if you haven't dropped your ride..that would be first on my list... and it was ..3 days after i got my xb i dropped it on Tanabes.

Hmm, don't like sound enough to go through spending much money on it. Thanks for all the help.

I would go with the carbon hood. I think they look extremely clean and add some personality.

I know someone who sells them I think they are around $330 plus shipping but he uses some sort of marine gel coating so he has a 10 year warranty on his hoods from the carbon fading Email to contact him is PartsGallery@aol.com

For me sound and interior is key. I have the facory installed Bazooka tube in the trunk and it does the job incredibly well without an amp or extra speakers. I also have to say that it is key to pimp out the interior first. I'm getting some extra leds and lighting installed this weekend and that should add some sweetness to my interior. It's what makes you happy, do you want people outside the car impressed, or people inside impressed???
