Default Need help with fog relay

so i picked up these fogs around a local car store, it worked great for a while then out of no where it stopped working im assuming its the relay- the relay part number wus Yl-388-s and i ahve been looking for it everywhere but no luck'
would another relay work, if so would a
Hella H41010001 Dual 87 40 Amp SPST Mini Relay with Bracket

i am about to out hids in but i cant until i figure out this probelm, anyone run into this?

Have you first checked in-line fuses for that?

oh yeh i checked that already i thought it was the fuse at first it wasnt so all else fails is the relay itself wouls that one work

Maybe check out the control side on the parking light circuit at the fog relay. Usually you can verify a ground signal sent out to the relay when you turn your parking lights on. Use a polarity test light to check that.

Check the fuse. stick you head under the drivers side dash and theres the fuse box there. its the 15 and its blue

Is this a factory or aftermarket foglight kit?
I assuming aftermarket since you got it from an auto parts store. Those kits they sell commonly have in-line fuses in the harness.

ok so i checkd all the fuses including the inline fuse and the blue 15 fuse they are both in good shape... i only did it for a few minutes i was about to go through all the fuses but i dont see the point, to me i still beleive that it is the relay im jsut worried about ordering the wrong one plus i went to places around here and none of them have it which i dont understand ..so idk what else to do i bought new hids for it which sucks that i wont be able to use it until i fix this problem please help anyone
