I installed an Injen cold air on my brothers auto XA and it is deffinately louder and I did notice that at higher rpms it has a little more throttle response. I should be getting my Injen CAI for my XB soon so I will let you know how it is.
We put the AEM cold air in our xB since it was the first one available in August '03 when we got our car. We had to wait a few weeks before it arrived, so we had plenty of time to compare before cold air and after. For my money, it was the best upgrade avaiable. Made a significant, noticeable difference in acceleration and response. I believe it was about $300, installed.
a lil advice of what i've noticed in other forums. whenever a well known manufacturer is looking for a tc for a test fit on a product please volunteer your car. you will in most cases get the product for free once they are finished w/ your car and it also might help you out in getting picked next time they come around for another test fit. you will get the product months before it even comes out and makes you feel special.

Hey, let us know what it's like, as far as how it: sounds, feels at throttle, stuff like that. I'm looking for a short ram, and am interested in the secret weapon.
