factory pictures from japan
Been out there looking for pictures from within the scion plant in Japan, just to see them getting made. Can't seem to find anything very public as far as PR for this.
has anyone run accross any or seen vids of the assembly?
thanks

I've been trying to find pictures of the factory too.
I can tell you this, the xB/bB and xA/Ist are both built in the Takaoka plant. It opened in 1966 and currently employs 6000 people.
The address of the Takaoka plant is:
1 Sanko, Honda-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, JAPAN
The plant general manager is Shinichi Sasaki
That's all I could find... I'd love to see some pics though, damn it.

All I've been able to find is some maps, one picture from inside (a meeting in an anonymous meeting room in the plant) and this basic layout drawing:

It would be nice to see some pics of the boxes being made...

The Voltz is a cousin of the Matrix/Vibe, which are also built out of the Nummi plant. . . before those cars, that plant was incharge of the previous generation Corolla/Chevy-Geo Prism. I believe the Corolla has moved to a new plant, and the Prism has been dropped from Chevy. It's New United Motors because it is a joint venture plant with GM.
