Default Nexus tc header

I'm just curious if anyone checked out the new super street issue. It had a very nice bright green tc on the front cover and as I was flipping through the pages I saw a tc header from a company called Nexus. Anybody heard of them? I'm debating on getting a header between Megan Racing or be a guinea pig and try out Nexus.

get the facts.
1: we are NOT talking about the Five Axis TC.
2: we are talking about a small ad near the back of the mag.
3: its not 52". it is a 43" pioneer. (do you read, or just look at pictures)

These are non-street legal RACE headers, not some lame bolt on crap like the DCs. The Nexus headers DO NOT throw a CEL unlikes the DCs and Megan headers, plus have you actually done any reading on the DCs in this forum lately? Most if not all those with them installed are giving them ____-poor reviews due to the rice noise they fart around.

The Nexus headers aren't meant for just any little boy sporting a tC. They are meant to perform well, and last, as well as look good. Nor are they meant for regular every day driving.

What proof do you have that the Alphawerks header doesn't throw a CEL? Most of the fart noises people get from the DC header is when it's paired with the TRD exhaust.

I think I read it in one of their claims not too long ago. Granted, claims don't really mean jack ____ in the real world, but it's something to consider. The DCs totally bypass the first cat, and as such are totally non-CARB exempt. This is why I bought the Megan headers, also because I have the TRD exhaust and could use the extra restriction from the Megan's precat to combat the rice-can effect. Who's to say I'll pass smog next year even with the precat? Worse comes to worse I'll just keep the stock headers around for a quick swapout if need be.

I'd like to see the power curves. How's the midrange?

And those numbers sound about right for a 2.4L naturally aspirated motor with low compression. What do you expect from bolt-ons?

And to those commenting on raspy exhausts. Again, it's a 4 cylinder, get use to it, because you can't change it.

Well all I know is that the weapon-r prototype header dynoed 19hp with a CAI and you should get more than 24hp from a racing header, intake, and throttle body alone IMO especially when the header is 600, exhaust is 689, throttle body is 400, and that's draxus price list and no telling how much the intake will cost.

why people put tv's in their car is beyond me. IMO, cars are for driving in, not watching tv. Give me a comfy sofa, and big screen tv any day.
