Pretty sure it will be quite a bit different due to the different engine placement. The tCs engine is quite a bit closer to the firewall I believe, which also changes it relative position to the wheel well.
I got a reply from a guy in R&D on the AEM forum about their Cool Air System for the TC. He stated that it is waiting for CARB approval.
However, the K&N is CARB exempt because its for "off road use". Therefore, the K&N will probably have more ability to produce horsepower than the AEM when it is finally released.

CARB approval = CARB EO = CARB exemption order. What you are getting approved for is an exemption from the CARB law against modifying any part of a stock intake. AEM is most likely waiting to release the aftermarket version of the intake (if it goes to production) for other reasons (like agreements with toyota).
