Default No Disrespect at all...

I have a '11 xB SW. I've been debating about buying TEIN S-tech through a local shop for $360+shipping OR through fastscions.com w/c is about $249 I think +shipping. The local shop said they were an authorize dealer for TEIN. I told them about fastscion.com is selling it cheaper. They looked up fastscions if they are on the TEIN list of authorize dealer & they were not on the list. Also the local shop showed me pictures of counterfeit TEIN springs next to the legit TEIN springs & made me more apprehensive. Just wonderin'... do you guys know if the fastcions.com is an authorize dealer for TEIN or Is there anybody here bought an S-tech springs through fastcions.com?

You had to know I'd do this vegan:

Tein USA
562-861-9171
M-F 9:30am-6pm PST

FastScions.com
310-202-0900
M-F 9am-6pm PST
Sat. 10am-4pm PST

Tein USA & FastScions are both located in SoCal. FastScions is one of the largest online resellers of after-market parts for Scions... if they were selling counterfeit knock-offs, I would think Tein would shut that down fast (no pun intended).

Fastscions is a legitimate seller for all the parts they have. The price difference you are seeing is just due to the fact that they don't have a retail floor space to staff and sell from unlike the local shop. Results in lower overhead and lower costs. The flip side is if you have a problem with something you can't just go to the local shop and have it taken care of, you have to take the parts off and ship them, then wait for the replacements to be shipped out. It's the difference between online and brick & morter store.

tell your local shop to beat the price of fastscions and not beat you over the head with those outrageous prices...fastscions is reputable and I bet you anything the "pictures" you were shown were of ebay knockoffs like everything else they sell on there.... not knocking ebay being I am an avid shopper but I know what to and what not to get off of there....just saying!

^^^ Hey Drew wassup bro!!

that is cool if ppl have bought em off ebay I am not one to knock em especially if they work for the ppl who installed em you know! but me personally and by the photos on both sites they springs def look different...and just the fact that this seller does not post anything about a warranty in matter of fact it clearly states:

All sales are final unless item is defective upon delivery
Please inspect your order upon receipt. No claims will be honored after 5 days of delivery
We will reimburse you the actual shipping fees for exchange if we shipped incorrect quantity, incorrect item or defective item

vs fastscions offering a 1yr warranty I would def lean towards the extra $40 or so and know that if in a yr something goes wrong I have a chance of getting a set replaced...you get me? lol

I bought my spoiler and bumper guard from fastscions and bought my TEIN coil overs from a local dealer that beat fastscions price. I would still buy from fastscions....any day.

18X7.5 +42 BBS RKs, +15mm spacers in the rear (Ichiba V2), custom powder coated Black Chrome. Tires are Kuhmo Ecsta Platinum LX 225/40-18s.

No tire rubbing issues what so ever. I have had slight rubbing issues with the underside plastics on dips in the road, but nothing bad at all. You definitely have to watch curbs and parking barriers. Ride is stiff but definitely bearable.

I checked when I first got mine, and the 5A kit doesn't fit. The side skirts fit, but the front/rear lips don't.

I just dont like the round reflectors on the rear bumpers.. My cousin bought me the rumion rear bumper reflectors when he was in japan few months ago but I'm wonderin' "How in the hell I'm gonna mount that to the polyurethane bumper..?"
