Default Where can I find my Xb's engine number?

I live in New Zealand and have just purchased a Scion Xb (well actually it's an imported Toyota Bb). To get it legal on the road I have to know the engine number but can't find it.

Does anyone know where it is?

Thanks in advance...

What do you mean by engine number?

VIN is located inside the door.

If you want to know what engine you have, that should be on a sticker toward the front of the engine bay.

Most likely you have the 1.5 liter, which is 1NZ-FE, but I beleive they also make a 1.3 liter bB which would be 2NZ-FE.

Hope that is some help.

Post some pics and tell us about it.
What part of NZ? I spent much time in Christchurch on my wat back and forth to Antarctica back in the 70's.
