Default Painting my calipers

Hey everyone I need your opinions! I have an IIP tC and I want to paint my front calipers. I'm torn between yellow and red... I think yellow would look pretty sweet but it would show dirt and brake dust a lot better than red would... What do you think?

I voted other. I also have an IIP tC and plan on doing them blue.

*EDIT*

Our cars are nearly identical...hehe. MT, floormats, pedistal spoiler. Get some TRD springs and fog lamps and we can be twins.

Buck, I"m getting the foglights in two weeks

Gold was another option, but it's not my favorite... I really kind of dislike gold in general.

If you are going to paint the front calipers, why wouldn't you paint the rear calipers as well?

I don't normally like painted stock calipers IMO. Although I have seen some done up very nicely.

Good luck!

Paint the rears too, it will look more complete. The right way would be to powder coat them but the paint you are talking about is sooooo much easier.

Powder caoting isn't really that expensive, it's just a pain to have to disassemble the caliper, take it to the powder coating place, wait for it to get finished(Meanwhile your car is undrivable), when finished - reassamble caliper, reinstall caliper, and bleed the brakes.

What a pain in the A%$!!!!

I plan on just buying a set of used rear calipers (Anyone selling some???) and getting them powder coated to match the front big brake kit.

How about a silver-ish to match the wheels (if your stock)?

Eh, too much silver... thought about that though. Plus it wouldn't be that much different from the grey that they are right now.

For IIP i would say gold or red. Anything else would just not look right. I have a BSP, i'am thinking red. Are there any Brake kits out for the tC yet?

i painted all four red on my BCP. on an IIP i think yellow would look really cool, sort of a blue angels color theme

i dont know how much brake dust would show up on yellow, i dont really notice it on my red ones.

just save your money and buy a big brake kit that comes painted already and are functional. IMO painted stock calipers look tacky and rice. but it's your car so just forget what i said and paint them red i guess.
