This is my turbocharged toyota ist from jakarta, built by GE racing. It has TD04-13G turbine from my bro's USDM wrx, boosted at 0.5 bar, HKS SSQV BOV, SAFCII for engine management, sidemount intercooler from Toyota Supra, fuel pump and pressure regulator and more. I haven't dyno it yet since there are not many dyno machines in jakarta and it's quite expensive to dyno cars in here. i'm estimating about gaining 15 - 30hp on the wheel.

Very nice! .5 bar is around 7-8 psi, correct? I would imagine you would gain at least 40-50 hp.

1 bar is 14.7 psi...
.5 bar is indeed between 7-8

gains should be about 20-25 hp...

With tuning, it should be much higher than that. I'd say more like 50-60whp judging by dynos of a couple xB's.

Remember, turbo's are the most efficient type of supercharger. Even thermally!!!!

 

I juz did a custom turbo kit for my toyota ist on a 2nz-fe engine as well. Been running 1 bar for a while without a problem.
