Default Rocky Mountain Scion Club

Hey everyone
Since the Rocky Mountain Scion Club has a few members now I decided to make a thread for the club. If anyone has questions or something they want to discuss about the club this is the place to do it.

My first question is do we want to keep Rocky Mountain Scion Club as our name or do we want to come up with something more creative?

I think that Rocky Mountain Scion Club is a good name, It doesn't sound unique but it looks cool when written down and it suits us since we have members form Colorado and Wyoming.

I like it we just need to get stickers made up or something to get the name out there. That way we get new members.

Hey everyone
Here's any idea for something the club can do, the Denver International Auto Show is Open from March 21-25, if we wanted to go as a club the last day of the show is Sunday the 25th and is open from 10am to 6pm admission is $10. Scion is suppose to be there and have an FRS. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

What are you doing to it that has caused it to sit in your driveway for four years?

almost 4 years ago did a full body kit and i refuse to be "that guy" driving around in a car with 7 colors. 3 years ago failed emmissions and couldn't be bothered to fix it (no cat, no MAF sensor), then last year it got tore up in that hail storm. it still runs, drives, stops just fine and its only got 30k miles on it (2005). every year i say to myself ill get it painted and start showing again but im way too busy with other fun stuff. and with 3 other cars to drive theres no emergency to get it done. shame really... best stereo setup youll see in an xb ;)

If anyone wants to drive down to the show as a group please let me know. If you do we can meet at the Budweiser event center/The Ranch. I want to get there around 12:00 so I will be leaving the Budweiser event center at 10:30 on the dot. The show is at the Colorado Convention Center the address is 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202. If anyone wants my number PM me.

The Budweiser Center is a good meeting spot. We could meet in the same parking lot as last time. It's pretty easy to find for those who haven't been there.

Anyone going that lives in or near Cheyenne, we could meet at the mall on Dell Range at 930 am to drive down as a group. If there are no takers I'll just meet up with the group in Ft Collins at 1030.

I have made the drive several times in about 45 to 50 minutes so we should make it there by 1030. We could meet at 915 to be safe. There are usually a lot of empty parking spaces in the lot behind the Chipotle restaurant, we could meet there.
