Go to Victor (aka TopDog) he and his crew are the best around. If you want a Scion, he will make sure you are taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else, personally.

Scion of Kirkland is where I bought my tC, and I voted "No Way" cuz I would not recommend going there.

The sales rep I dealt with the entire time, Dick Coffey, was nice enough but a bit odd. At times he was doing his best to get me exactly what I wanted, other times he was just somewhat of a looney.

Night I went in to sign papers, I was told it would only take 10-15 minutes... almost 2 hours later, we finally left :/ Then when I went to pick up the car, I was told it would be ready by 1pm or so. 5pm I finally got my car, and had to burn out of there since my room-mate's wedding rehersal was starting!

Mostly, the impression I got was once they had ya hooked, you weren't priority.

Under reviews there is a Dealer Review section. I would strongly encourage everyone who has had either a possitive or negative experience to please fill out a review of the dealerships you've been to. This will help to prevent future perspective buyers from having to go through the same crap you have or let them know where the really good places are.

On the note of Kirkland, yes I've been there several times. I will NEVER buy a car from there, but I really like their parts department. They have always been very prompt and helpful for me whenever I've needed to find odd ball parts.

Thanks For the kodo's guys I am so flattered. I know that Kirkland is under a new program so don't gudge them to harshley on the past. They are trying to get things in line with covanace and I have to give props to anyone that will take that on. Let's see what happens and if they need help getting there I am always avalible for advice.

Quick question on 'dealer reviews.'

Is there any place here at ScionLife to review other portions of a dealer's performance on an on-going basis?

For example: Months after purchase and review of the sales experience is there somewhere to place a review of their service department? How about their parts department? Body shop?

I know there's the forum style section for this, but is there any way to associate these further reviews with the actual dealer review???

If those review locations exist, I haven't found them yet (of course that might also mean that no one would read the reviews, anyway, 'cause they can't find 'em either...

I even forgot all about the dealer review section.... especially since I was a dealer and am still listed as the rep to see at Scion of Tacoma.

Well, I bought my xB before I met the Sheep, so I didn't buy it from his old shop, but from the shop the family has dealt with for a few decades.

I could have done better...

My salesman at Kirkland was Randy.

It was a positive experience at first - terrific test drive, he was very helpful and didn't try to sell me on options I didn't want when I placed the order. Took about a month to get the car.

Bad points:
- we talked on a Saturday after they received my car. Told him I'd be in the next day, unless I called him otherwise.
- next day I went in, had to wait and wait while they did all the paperwork. Told me the car was being "prepped" and so I thought I would be ready to ride.
- then he tells me (after I had been there for hours) that in fact they didn't have the stereo or floor mats installed because service wasn't open, and didn't have the fog lights in at all. Gave me the option of driving it (without a stereo?) and bringing it back the next day to work on. Hmm.
- again, had to wait forever to talk to finance. Finally gave him a deadline or said I'd leave and come back the next day to finish. Magically one of the finance guys was done.
- Finance guy spent the better part of an hour trying to sell me on the crappy maintenance/breakdown plans. $2K in breakdown insurance? On a TOYOTA? Uh, yeah.

I definitely got the impression that once I placed the order, they didn't care so much.

Also, it's been a week and still no fog lights. I wonder if I can cancel. They knew when I placed the order in February that I wanted them.

This is all GREAT info, just to let you guys know my name Is Ross Hu____ I work at Scion of Kirkland. I was hired last week and my job is to make things like this change.

So from what I have read, Scion of Kirkland is great at first, but when we have your commitment things start to change. Now like I said I just got hired last week and I am only just starting to change things around here, Victor (TopDog) is going to help me. I hope over the next few months we can get Scion of Kirkland on the right track!

Any info you guys can give me will help out a lot! What do you think we need to change or keep the same, do we need to re-train our salesmen? Whatever it takes I will do it!

Well Ross, if you are "as involved" as Victor is in the Scion community then you'll be a cool guy. But if you're just gonna "sell" the product and not get involved in any events or anything and be lame then I would say you guys are gonna lose alot more business. So I would say learn from Vic. Oh and by the way I am a lot attendent at Toyota of Lake City. hehe

Yah, I am going to get involved as much as I can. Events, Car Club's everything! I am planning to go see Vic sometime next week and talk to him about ways I can turn this dealer around. I will keep a eye out for you too.
