Default secondary 02 sensor blows efi fuse2

I had a problem recently where my car wouldnt start and i traced the problem to the efi fuse no 2. After replacing fuses and replacing them everytime i crank the engine over, i traced the problem to the secondary o2 sensor, i unclipped the sensor and now the car runs fine. I am waiting for my 02 sensor in the mail, but has anybody ever had this problem?
