Default TRD reflash ecu question

My friend has a 06 A/T TC. I can't find anyone in my area that can do a reflash but I found a 07 reflashed ecu on eBay I was wounding if that would work? And if the pins are diff if I could just swap the boards?

Generally the 05/06 Scion TC have a different harness then 07-10 TC's so no it won't work.

Check your friends door panel and see if his TC was assembled pre 04/2006 or after, if it was assembled after 04/2006, you might be able to use an 07/10 ECU, but I would assume any TC assembled after 04/2006 was probably considered a 2007 model. Also, the 2007 Scion TC ecu isn't the best ECU to go with due to the power-cutoff when you hit redline.

Its far from worthless. Maybe to you, but that item is a necessary component and if you dont have it, you need it. Unless your buying a reflash tool or want to go to the dealer, than not have a stock ecu to go back to...

I wouldnt sell it for only $100... And you shouldnt go around telling people that others items are worthless either.

Im in need of one so why you think im ____ talking!!! as far as the price there is one on ebay right now for $65 but its for a 07 so it wont work. The dealer charges to do a flash $100 and thanks for your a opinion
