fabricate one, if that is not an option.., pay someone to fabricate one.. or just wait until some company decides to fab one up for the RS owners out there. i'm sure someone will..

if i were you, i'd take the car to a muffler shop and cut the secondary cat and resonator, and replace it with a high flow resonator.. you could also replace it with a straight pipe.. you could go even further by replacing the stock muffler with a high one or straight pipe also.. just leave the tail pipe alone.., it would look stock but be so much more!

Everything up until the muffler should work. I would go and do a custom rear section along with other components that are already offered

replace cat with vibrant ultra quiet resonator, problem solved.

Whats that? Why yes, I do have one for sale?

What? no, it was used for ONE day, then removed( I need my oem scuba/cat backpressure for my turbo kit to work).

How much you ask? Half price of the original price($50), and whatever shipping is.

Just in case you were wondering.

Why would you want to upgrade the TRD exhaust..??

It's the same exhaust offered for sale to other tC owners with out the exhaust tip.

Why would you not want to upgrade it? TRD exhaust with a midpipe sounds great.

Well maybe so you would still be street legal and have a warranty.

Not going to lose a warranty over a midpipe

Well with some of the stealerships I wouldn't say that.

You understand what I'm saying about keeping the car street legal as a lot of states have lame laws about loud exhaust systems CA being on of them.

Don't take me the wrong way as I like a nice sounding exhaust but I don't want every cop in town giving me a hard time.

If one is worried about a midpipe and warranty take it off before you go to the dealer for warranty. Although I don't even know what warranty stuff you would be taking it for or that they would even see the midpipe. That's my experience working at a dealer.

Any mod is illegal in someway if they want to get you for it. Tint for example on the front windows is illegal out here but everyone has it.

I've been running the Megan mid + TRD for over a year and have not had any problems with the police - yet.

I see what you're saying but wouldn't stop me from customizing my car and enjoying it. Just have to be creative.

If I understand what your say is order a RS 8.0 TRD exhaust..??

The RS 8.0 parts are VIN protected so not everyone can buy them and if your talking about the mid-pipe it's $874.71 MSRP..!!
