"...will it sound okay, or bad?"

What the does this mean? Okay or bad? HKS probably made the worse exhaust for the second generation. It sounds quieter than stock and still has a gas tank muffler. Any mid pipe will always help with tone and throaty-ness. These aren't six or eight bangers, so whenever you are doing exhaust on a four guy, you always have to worry about rasp or rice. But with the second generation, it's pretty beefy sounding no matter what people are throwing on them. Why would you spend money on something that you knew nothing about, and especially since you are so unsure and do not seem confident in your purchase? But yes, the HKS with the mid pipe will help it not sound so stock.

If you install a good resonator in place of the mid pipe, it will cancel out the rasp, and leave you with a nice deep tone. Vibrant ultra quiets are great for that. Local exhaust guys swear buy them.
