The red paint on the spoiler of my 2009 XD looks like it is had been rubbed off. All the other paint on my car is fine.

Anyone know anything about this? Also, is this possibly under my warrenty?

Was going through posts and noticed your's was never responded to. The warranty on paint is a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty for manufacturer's defect. If caused by outside influence it would not be covered. If you have not had it diagnosed by a dealer Scion would recommend doing so. Seeing that you do have a 09 xD the vehicle is almost certainly outside of the warranty parameters, defect or not. Hope this answer helps. ^AP

 

The spoiler probably has it's own 12month/12k mile parts warranty unless you purchased it new with the vehicle (which means it would join the rest of the warranty I believe

 

If it was installed after purchase by the dealership it would come with a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty from date of installation, however it still would need to be determined to be a manufacturers defect to fall under warranty parameters which the dealer would need to diagnose and determine. ^AP
