Default Carbon Fenders are on **PICS**

Ok, I finished putting them on today. The quality is excellent and the fit was near 100% but I will readjust them later on... Here are some pics though as I know everyone was very anxious to see them...

im really not feeling the carbon fiber fenders unless you have carbon fiber hood, roof overlay, hatch overlay, lip, etc.

all or nothing on carbon fiber. this way it looks like you couldnt afford to get them painted. if you candy coated them blue that would be badass! just not my style. but good mod

The hood is coming, along with a 4 piece lip kit... As far as the overlay, WHY? Who wants a carbon fiber sticker? Thats retarded...

i think by what was meant was actual carbon fiber overlay (they do all this bodywork on the roof and apply real carbon fiber and clear it)

I think they would look sweet with candy flames, IMHO they might be too much with the CF hood, unless you candycoat that too. I could be wrong, but I cant wait to see the pics

Yea that plow worries me... I dont have another bumper to put on if i hit it again. Winter is over so the plow should be comin off... New bumper, new air dam, new lower grilles and the fenders...Whole new nose...

They arent that much lighter than the factory color... Definitley noticeable though..

Looks like you had a fender bender and couldn't afford paint.

I have nev er known to get into an accident and they replace with carbon fiber....hmmmmmmmm I thought the purpose was to let it be seen. I also thought that the hatch was entire carbon fiber. I knew the roof was an over lay but after you did that, there goes idea for sunroof or sliding rag. Yes you can cut the carbon fiber but why after all the work that went into doin the roof....Stu they look bad ___!!! Can't wait to see it when you get the rest of the stuff on it.

Oh and just remember "vinyl is for your house, not your car"

I think what Max2K meant was it looks funny because its off color. Thats the way I feel too. Once he gets the rest done I think it will look a ton better IMO. It wont look so pieced out.

It's actually for weight reduction is the real purpose of carbon fiber, not to be seen. I'm guilty of the same thing though, I have the VINYL carbon fiber stickers for looks. I love em. I spent $40 for everything and unless its next to the real stuff or realllly close, not a damn person can tell the diff.

I dont have an unlimited budget so vinyl will have to work for now..

I think it would look cool to candy blue flames on the fenders and hood so the negative space matches your paint and the flames going back were left clear carbon. Haven't seen that done before...

I think the best thing to do would be to get CF fenders/hood/whatever and paint them, but leave a little part so the CF can show through. For instance, I would get a CF hood and leave a 1cm strip of CF near the wipers.

The statement I made about vinyl wasn't ment to be taken harsh. matter of fact its a t shirt from drop em wear. Only reason I said it was cause of my fenders and doors. I knew the reason for carbon fiber was for weight reduction. EITHER WAY they look sick and knowing Stuart, no matter what he does it will look sick!!!! But yeah candy flames would look sick!!!!
