Default Another rough idle post

I just read a similar post but I think my issue may be a bit different because I have no intake or any engine mods for that matter. My car will idle rough and damn near stall out. Sometimes when going from reverse to 1st it will just stall. And sometimes when I'm at a stop and I go to take off real quick it almost stalls.

Could be 87138495 different issues. We surely don't have enough information about your car or the problem to give you an accurate answer.

buy a can of electronics connector cleaner spray from an autoparts store and clean your MAF. Takes 5 minutes and costs about $5. If that doesn't work, buy a can of air intake cleaner spray and clean your throttle body. That's another $5 and about 30 minutes. If those don't solve the issue, then you got much bigger problems.

I'm on a stock intake and the rough idle/stalling issue happens about once a year. A quick cleaning of the MAF does the trick.

Sorry for the complete lack of info. I was typing it at work then actually had to do work and just posted it. Thanks for the input though, thats pretty much what I had gathered from a similar post. Def. gonna give this a shot.

Worked like a charm. Reset the ecu while i was at it and it initally started to run worse but then it figured itself out and all is smooth.
