Default My tc2 build thread

Hello everyone, I purchased my 2013 scion tc automatic( yes I know it's an auto.....) on march 16th 2013

So far my mileage is 8,500 and counting. When I purchased the car it had 0 options on it, but as I bought it I added a few extra options. Factory, Leather interior, fog lights, spoiler, and carbon fibre b pillar appliqué . [IMG]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/

After about a month I added trd springs, exhaust, strut bar, intake, oil cap, shift ****. And that was it for awhile.

Next step was a lip for the front so I got one from nia automotive

Then after that I added meng motorsports 5k hid kit [IMG]http://img.tapatalk.com/d

Next was the fog lights so I said what the heck and went with orange

Then I found these on the internet there from diode dynamics [IMG]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/

There great and they accent my interior nicely. The most recent thing I did was my carbon fiber roof spoiler from remix customs [IMG]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/28/

And then window tint for Christmas

is that header wrapped? i only ask because from what i remember reading wrapping the header increases risk of it cracking open completely right before the cat from high temperatures. not the best idea. i know you're trying to reduce engine bay heat or save your hood, but this may cause you to lose your header eventually.

If anyone knows better - will a header damage your hood paint at all?

Yes it is wrapped, I read a lot about wrapping it and the pros and cons and for me the pros outweighed the cons plus my dad knows what he is doing when he works on cars I haven't had any trouble with anything it runs perfect , I can even go to my dealership for a checkup and my warranty will be good.

I mean after many miles of driving, it may weaken the header metal enough to crack it. The car should be fine while still new.

I am just passing on some info of what I read about and seen photos of. It could have just been freak accidents (driver pushing his car all the time) and may depend on the owner's habits. Just thought I would mention it.

Yeah I'm not worried about it it's a very high quality header I don't push my car to redline at every light. Thanks for the info though

?? I saw it and I asked to see more of it. What's the big deal? Why getting all hostile? You just refused to acknowledge my request even slightly... if it isn't yours then just say so. That's what most people do. Otherwise, make a thread about it. I wasn't kidding. Most members have a second build thread if they have another car that they know people will want to see. This isn't just Scions. It's a car enthusiasts forum.

I'm sorry I came off hostile I never meant to be that way I just figured when I was looking around on some other build threads I saw some people post some stuff for sale so I said sure why don't I do that in mine seeings how I can't post in classifieds due to the limitations, no hard feeling I also here so much about my brothers car I kinda get sick of it but anyway let's move on and I'll work on making this a true build thread
