Have a 2012 Scion tc when i crank up the music to about 30 and listen for a while it goes down and i need to turn it up to like 40, stereo shop said the factory amp for speakers has to go, also my speakers started to like sound stupid on certain bass notes cant explain it sounds terrible kills the music would changing the amp help with that too thanks.

You might have damaged your speakers which in turn have damaged your amp or vise versa.

I don't know what "sounds stupid" sounds like or means so it's hard to tell.

The door panels tend to rattle with heavy-ish bass, could be the " stupid sound" you are talking about. Also turn off the automatic speed sensing volume control in the settings, forget what it is actually called, but it is in the sound menu.

no i fixed the bass door rattle, the speakers basically sounds like pure distortion when i turn it up, also when it gets hotter outside it gets worse but when its cold it basically goes away, think im going to through down 650$ for a jl 6 channel amp with install and hope it corrects and improves my overall experience thanks for the help.

Wait there is a sound control for speed in this car didn't know that, ummm whats it called their are so many settings and ill turn it off see if it helps.
