Default Would you like to see Brad (squirrel) become a Mod?

Ok xB community, as a lot of you probably know, George is not a Mod anymore. An idea that arose was to have the citizens of scionlife elect a new mod rather than the "king" who usually does. The majority of us live in America right? So why not give democracy a try? One person who comes to mind to fill the position is squirrel. If you take a look at his record, he has not only been a member of this site since July 26, 2003, but has also averaged almost 7 posts per day during all of this time. Admit it, he practically lives on this site. Squirrel has already said that he would become a mod if given the chance, he is on this site enough. So what I would like for everyone to do, is vote yes or no on the poll attached as to if you would elect squirrel as a mod or not. If your vote is no, I would like you to also post a reason.

Well so far we have 37 Yes votes and 5 no votes between the xB and tC community. I am sure that the scionstaff have seen our posts, and hopefully will take them into consideration when they vote for a new mod.

I vote yes for the fact he's so knowledgeable. A lot people on this board have an out of control attitude when they know stuff and bag on others. Brad is nothing like this. When looking at his posts, you can see he's helpful and knows what hes talking about! Hell he even had a featured ride. He's a smart and compentent person who could probably best fill George's shoes. He's got my vote 100%. It'll be hard trying to think of someone that could be any better (no offense to the rest of you)

I voted yes because of his positive input and feedback on the posts I have seen him on. If you search for all of his posts you know that this is his second home away from home. Good luck to you Brad!

its interesting how people that voted yes are saying why they did so and are saying how brad has helped them but the people that voted no are keeping quiet...

Ya, especially since in the post it asks for only the people who vote no to explain why they feel he would not be a good candidate.

I'm voting yes for a couple of reasons:

1) He is very knowledgeable & willing to help others out
2) He is one of the Nor*Cal OG's!
3) He brings the knowledge of the law to our site that has been very insightful.
4) He brings years of tuning experiences to the table

And most important...

5) He brings an honest opinion. Sometimes hurtful, sometimes helpful, but at least honesty. Not everyone has totally agreed with him, but it is almost an effective balance for a public forum to have someone of his influence & stature involved.

Now... knowing Brad... will he take it? I'm not sure. We'll just have to see. He does have a family, job, military, upcoming surgery, & leisure time to attend to. So who knows, but as the name implies... he is nuts! So anything is possible.

Oh yeah... all his mods... does make him a jerk!
