If I was worried about what other people thought about the xB I would'nt be driving one. To each his own.

all you have to do is ask them how many times their focus was recalled, that should shut em up. my 2 best friends have focuses and they always are having something wrong.

my dad has owned ford cars for like 20 some years now and i can say every single one was a pile of ford garbage. (currently he has a 2001? taurus) they are not fun to drive around in, poorly made, and do not last very long.

At the time I bought my Matrix, I had looked at a Focus. I test drove one and didn't like it. But, a friend of mine has an SVT Focus and it didn't feel like it was going to fall apart though.

I'm surprised that the Focus people have time to post on a site while they are getting all of the factory recalls taken care of on their cars.

Maybe the service departments have Wi-Fi or something.

I especially like how the guy said he would rather drive a Tempo. I say let 'em. A$$.\

I had a 2000 Ford Focus.....it sucked big time. I had 9 recalls on it, a blown radiator, busted engine. I replaced all of them and traded it in for my xB. I used to love Ford but it let me down to many times. The devil is real and his name is Ford Focus.

check out my WWW and my profile. I put two lengths on my friends zx3 focus. He has exhaust from headerback and a piggyback programable control module. I'm not sure of what engine work he has done from when it had a turbo on it and it has some ignition work.
Before my iridium plugs, intake, and WR engine damper he put about three to four lengths on me

i had a '88 taurus after my '87 Z28 was totaled (R.I.P ) and as im driving to school on route 1 teh transmission stopped putting power to the wheels, then i look in my rear view mirror to find smoke, fkuid, and huge chunks of metal falling out the back of the car. i lifted the hood to see where the smoke was coming from and the engine was on fire. needless to say i left it burning on the side of the road.2 days later it was still there (the fire put itself out) and had it towed to a local garage and told them to junk it.

i am on that site all the time...i used to have a zx3 and i was part of a focus club that i still am involved in..but i read that post and i was so annoyed. one thing i learned from owning a focus is they all love to talk sh*t. they all talk about how fast their foci are when they r slow.

My first car was a Ford. Lets put it this way, the auto repair mechanic and I were on a first name basis. After going to him so many times in a short period of time, he finally said to me "Save your money, dont put another dime into this car". I was completely shocked that a mechanic told me not to pay him to fix my car. hahaha I thought that was the funniest thing ever. You know it is bad when a mechanic feels sorry for you.

Theres Ford quality for ya.

awe, come on guys. If you were forced to drive a Ford Focus, you'd be ____ed too! And you'd be doubly-____ed if you found out that you could get twice the vehicle (xB) for the same price.

I feel sorry for them.

Who cares? let them talk their talk as long as they are happy and it is not harming anyone.
