Hi. I have a 2009 xD with tail light enhancement led's

Some of the led's are going out.

Is it possible to replace the led's?

Recently dealer said it would be $1100 to replace entire assembly.

Today I was pulled over by the police.

Thanks for any advice.

Looks like you have Aftermarket LED Tail Lights and the bulbs are going out.

Here's a couple of ways you can try:

1. 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Scion xD LED Custom Light Bulbs for Taillamps Taillights Tail Lamps Lights

2. GENUINE SCION xD 08-14 REAR DRIVER TAIL LAMP LENS & BODY ASSY OEM 81561-52620 | eBay

I myself have never try to replace the individual LED bulbs myself.
I replaced the OEM tail lights on my 2006 xB with LED Tail Lights and the swap was very easy.

I open the hatch there was a small panel that pries off exposing 2-10mm nuts. I took off the nuts and disconnected the plug to the tail light.
It was all Plug and Play. I think it is the same procedure on the xD.

(There is a 3rd Option. For $1,000 I would be more than happy to fly from Cali to where ever you are located
and change the entire assembly for you And pay your ticket. j/k)
