I rotated my tires today and I noticed that my tire pressure light suddenly came on. I went to the gas station to put air into my tires and saw that the pressure lights were still on. So I decided to read the manual and it said that once I filled up the tires with air, I need to press the tire pressure reset button. Does anyone know where it is??
Kiss it first... j/k. Hmm That's weird. Your tire pressure sensor works off your abs... it should've calibrated itself. Did you drive around for 10 minutes and the light came back on or did you wait 10-15 minutes then the light just came back on?
IF you have the standard 215/45ZR17 tires, you're setting the pressure too high, they should be inflated to...
Front - 32psi (31.9psi to be precise)
Rear - 29psi
1) Adjust tire pressure as indicated above.
2) Turn ignition switch ON. If the tire pressure light comes on, press the reset switch (in glovebox) and release it.
3) Press and hold the tire pressure reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.
4) (Re)Initialization is completed after driving on smooth, dry, straight roads at a speed of 19mph to 62mph for an hour. (Max two people in car, including driver)
I rotated my tires yesterday and the light never even came on. kind of weird.
I don't understand how it works if nothing is actually connected to the rim or tire.
Each wheel (hub) has a speed sensor, and as the outer diameter of the tire changes with inflation pressure, the speed of the wheel changes in relation to the other wheels. The ECU measures the difference, and if one wheel is out of whack with the others, it throws a tire pressure warning light.

Aite thanks...I'll try adjusting the tire pressures.
