From what I have seen so far the performance engine parts such as intakes/headers/exhaust have totally missed the mark. I think the aftermarket companies are just doing business as usual with the products that have been released so far and not giving any thought as to WHY their $150-$200 intakes only make 3-4 hp increases.... Exhaust systems gain only a little more but for much more $$$.

If you are serious about making performance parts for these engines think about why the current offerings are not working well and build better-more thought out products.
I think engine management tweeks will be necessary to realize the substantial gains that could be possible.

And all the parts need to be CARB certified.

Oh, I voted no on the NOs, I like power on tap all the time, not just when I can have a full bottle and push the button once in a while....

Juice is not for everyone indeed

Also, I'm not offering a "push button" application

I do know the aftermarket claims and prices do not always offer that copesetic levity.

I've been onvolved in this for a short time now, but know the reality versus market gullibility.

Intakes are usually best, stock. Unless what is being offered is a true CAI. Not just a snap on filter or a cone that looks neat.

Headers and exhaust offer MINUM Gains as do the CAI's.

If you seek a 13 second xB... you will need a lot of work, or a juicer.

If you seek the best handling Track Scion ever... Talk to me.

There is more to life than HP. And a properly set up Scion with MINIMAL HP Gains can out run an insanely modded Scion. And all for less $$
