looks great man... how did you mount it? for shvts and giggles I took out my upper grill and tried to figure out how to mount/cut it without fooking up the mesh.... got any pointers or a how too?
By far the best set up I've seen. Who cares if it is gutter guard.... the grillcraft looks almost identical and you save yourself a ton of money... good job again!

You suck at modifying cars, tell me thats not the power wire to your fog lights in betwen the door and fender like that, you really really really should run those wires through the firewall. However its your car if you want to start a fire, so be it. You didnt even mount your switch straight, what kind of half ___ ____ is that?

if my car was with me right now i would go find you a better spot. Some times being severe is what is needed to convince someone that they did a bad job on something like that.
either way, the way you have the wiring, its not dangerous at this moment but eventually you will have a fire hazard. I would go pop my hood and look at the firewall and look at all the various rubber grommets, then find one thats going to be inconspicuous with a couple of wires running through it, take a small pocket nife and make an incision, you should be good to go.
Dude, people have to learn, and people go different routes, and people change it. Don't be an _______. It's people like you with such comments that ruin everything. I mean, you could say it a tad more polite, it's like me saying "you should've gotten a turbo car to begin with instead of turboing your crx". He's making do with what he has or knows.

I had planned to wrap the wires with electrical to sort of make in blend in (black on black) .
OK I will check into your firewall idea, but tell me how would it catch fire? And what will stop it from catching fire by running it your way? Not being an _______ , I just want facts

Thats pretty ____ing irrelevant, show me a turbo car thats availible that is as light as my car was and capbale of low 13's just the way it was.... Thats got to be the dumbest analogy i have yet to seen. and cost less than 12k ish. You wont find one, maybe an old porsche. That crx was on its way to the 10's

That sheilding is not that thick, being that its so close to the door and hinges and not really secured to anything, as you open and close the door the wire could get pinched against the hinge or metal from the door, i cant really tell from the pics but it looks like when you shut the door the wires are pinched . Eventually the sheething on the wire will tear and when the copper wire comes in contact with the metal its going to "ground out your car" Think of it like this, you have your power and ground on the battery, the battery is grounded to the car, everything works fine, now say you have a power cable hooked up off the battery and it touches the metal on the car or the negative battery post. its basically the same thing.
The first thing thats going to happen is all the sheething on that wire will burn, its just rubber, if that wire is up against plastic (say close to the dash, or the fact that the wire is hooked up to your switch, your switch will eventualy start melting/ burn,, wich could then melt your dash.
If you have an inline fuse it probably wont be as bad as what i just listed above, but lol when i was 15 i did something similar with 2 big amps in my first car, and blew up my battery and altenator, and trust me it was not fun or cheap to repair.
yes, because the amprege from the power wire might not be enough to blow the fuse. but still could burn the wire and anything attached to it.
ITs basically a matter of doing it the right way or the wrong way. Plus it will look alot cleaner, (you wont have wires strung through the door and you wont have to deal with people like me pointing it out, i can probably find you a place to run it tommorow. its easy to make a cut through a grommert and feed the wire through, when your done you can put some wire loom over the wires so it wont stand out in your engine bay.
