Hello all:

Do any of you have real interest in molded Carbon Fiber interior/dash trim pieces? I've never been a big fan of the overlays - though the genuine carbon ones are far more acceptable than the faux finish junk - and as such am talking about REPLACEMENT interior and dash pieces (center console, gauge bezel, shifter surround, steering console, etc) made from molded Carbon Fiber...

If there's enough interest, I'm pretty sure I could make and sell these at prices fairly comparable to the overlays.

price range?

 

Obviously I'll have to make molds and prototypes and have at least a vague idea of interest to be able to give an accurate price range/quote, but off the top of my head I bet an entire carbon fiber center console/radio/vent surround could be sold for $200-ish...maybe $50-60 for the speedo surround and a bit less for the shifter surround - if I did/do this there'd be some kinda package discount...probably less than but somewhere around $300 for these three parts.

Window control surrounds would be cheap and easy...the entire top span/width of the dash, probably too much work and expense to be worth it for any of us...

definatly interested in all CF interior parts... as well as exterior actualy...

 

Sounds like a good idea. I'm interested, but also low on cash. If the price is close to overlays, send me a pm when you're ready to go to market with them. Hopefully my stereo's done by then :)

Silky, we're 80-90% "there" on a few (hopefully) cool and unique molded Carbon Fiber exterior pieces. I'll post more on these as things proceed.

i would definately buy some intereior CF peices, would look killer on my BSP XB

 

can you do chrome rings for the apeedo and the circular vents? much like what matrix has.

would you consider making the whole front dash and doors panels out of cf for me if you can do that ill be the first inline faSHO

 

Where are you located? I'm in LA and am not entirely opposed to the idea of doing a one-off project - with you of the understanding that an entirely Carbon Fiber replacement dash and door panels (2 or 4?) are gonna run you significantly north of an overlay kit. If you're seriously interested in having these parts made, email me and we'll see if we can work something out to fabricate the pieces and use your car to gauge interest. Thanks for the interest!
