I just want to know should i get a XA or a XB. Also for the people that financed it through toyota what is your apr? Lastley how reliable is the XB. Should i get fog lights on my scion.

Well, you're asking in the xB forum, so don't be surprised when I say "Get an xB!" I've had mine for 6 weeks or so, and I love it! It has TONS of room on the inside, and it's just a lot of fun to drive. But I would suggest getting a manual trans if you can; it definitely makes for a peppier car. As far as reliability, it's a Toyota - how much better can you do than that?

Fog lights - your choice. I got them, but I don't use them much. I just like that they break up that enormous front end area a bit.

test drive both and see what floats your boat in terms of functionality and style.

I financed mine in March and Toyota gave me a flat 5% APR. I wound up getting fogs to fill in the bumper, mainly for looks, but I'm doubtful if they're all that effective sitting so high off the ground.

I vote xb. No problems with mine and I purchase used. Financing was done through my credit union so can't help ya' there. I say the xb def looks better with the fogs and they don't come cheap if you decide to get'em later so if you like the factory fogs, I say drive away from the lot with them. keep us updated

Each their own!! Up in Canada (im in USA) my sister just bought a toyota Echo hatchback, fully loaded, the same as the XA here in the usa!!! (They didnt have, and still dont for the most part have SCION in Canada) She loves it. Great gas mpg, no problems what so ever. Everything she wants/needs in a car and more!!!
I just picked up my XB at Koons Tysons (Virginia)Toyotya/Scion Last night. So far so good. With both of these cars you have to take in a few considerations, mainly the price your paying, which isnt much for a great dependable vehicle!! ya, not a lot of Horsepower, but great MPG, rooms, quality and looks and that great Toyotya name!! For the price you cant go wrong, UNLESS you want to go 0 -60 in 6 seconds!!!
We went with the XB over the XA because of room!! XB felt just a bit bigger, which usaully means its a bit safer and can haul a bit more!!! traction control and stability is nice too. Test drive them both. Go with the 1 u feel more comfortable in!! Best of luck

If you don't haul a lot of big stuff, absolutely are on a budget, absolutely need side air bags, and don't want to be that obvious, get an xA.

The only reason I didn't is that I have this tendency to fill my car to the brim with stuff all the time. And I hated the xB so much when i first saw it that I knew I had to buy one.

They posted in the xA forum too. He really needs to go by what model would fit his lifestyle and who he wants to be with a car. There's nothing really dramatically different between the cars themselves except styling.
