Might want to check in the ICE forum... where this will likely be moved to.

I recommend any of the Pioneer's.

I have a Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD on my xB. The xA, xB, and tC use the same dash kit, so it'll fit perfectly in ur tC.

get the pioneer avic d-1 it costs less than the AVN5435, although has no DVD. But u can buy a PS2 and the nav will have your views, you will have DVD, and it will cost less than the Eclipse AVN5435. Also you will be able to play PS2 games!!!

I agree with you on that !!! The AVIC-D1 is the one to go, it's double din
mp3 for cd tray and nav maps for DVD, $1599 retail, around $1000 at cost. I've seen it as low as $1100 before. You can also hook up ipod to the deck with the optional ipod adapter, with theatre module, you can hook up DVD changer, and additional screens !! big plus. Real backup camera is another option for this deck
so yea thumbs up AVIC-D1

Keep in mind if you don't mind slightly older model of eclipse it's $1499 and that has DVD feature and can be grounded. Couple of major difference on the AVN2454 and 5435 is the NAV DVD is one version older ( not that big of a deal ) and XM radio for the newer model.

I have the AVN2454 since last year and I just bought the AVIC-D1 on my dad's avalon both are nice units to have.
