Cool - how'd you get the xB over to Germany? Where'd you buy it? Any good stories?

Bought the xB at Universal Toyota in San Antonio, TX and had it shipped. It's been fun driving it here with all the small twisty back roads and the Germans are breaking their necks trying to get a look at it!!

Now about the Autobahn....

I'll start out with a lesson, the Autobahn isn't a superhighway that has no speed limit. The Autobahn is what Europe calls their highway system. Basically there is a whole buncha Autobahn. There are some sections with NO SPEED LIMITS. I have had the xB to 105 MPH so far, that's all I had room to do. Needless to say it's not easy above 100 to accelerate, but I think it will make it to 120....maybe. If I get that fast, I'll get my wife to take pics of the spedo, hell or I might just take the pics!!

I think he was on a divided highway. If you look down to the right, it looks like the other half of the highway. Besides, dotted lines into a curve? I don't think so.

Very cool. No need for you to mod your car to make it stand out....

In most of Europe, they drive just like we do in the US. As far as passing zones, they are everywhere, around curves, on mountain roads. There are very few spots where you can't pass, and let me tell you...the Germans LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to pass. They also like to turn a 2 lane road into a 3 lane road impromptu!! I'll try and post more pics when I get them!

As far as driving on the left or right... the basic rule of thumb (there are exceptions) is that island countries drive on the left. Britain, Japan, and Australia are all on the left. Most continents drive on the right. Europe is on the right.

This really screwed me up when I studied abroad in England, and went to mainland Europe every other week.
